Dear friend,

From the deep of our hearts, we want to THANK YOU for coming to the 1^st Annual Umoja Bash, 2010 last night. We enjoyed every aspect of having you there and we hope you enjoyed it too and above all, you had a great time.

So far, we have received wonderful and supportive feedback from many of you. It was indeed one of the most terrific nights and quite memorable. That was all made possible because of people like you who came out in such a historic number despite the rainy weather.

It was great to have so many from East Africans under one roof without forgetting our friends and supporters from all other parts of the world. We are so grateful to all of you who made extra efforts to make sure that everyone who wanted to attend got an opportunity to do so.

Based on verified reports of crescent sightings in Trinindad and Guyana on the eve of Thursday September 9th 2010 (29 Ramadan), the Hilal Committee of Toronto has declared the 1st of Shawwal 1431 to be on Friday 10 September 2010. Eid ul Fitr will be on Friday 10 September 2010 The Hilal Committee with it's membership of more than 80 organizations wishes one and all a blessed and joyful Eid ul Fitr.

Watanzania tulikusanyika hapo jana nyumbani kwa Bashir na Sandra kwa ajili ya maombi ya marehemu Charity ambaye ni dada ya Sandra,msiba umetokea huko nchini Afrika ya kusini na Sandra anatarajia kuondoka leo kuelekea kwenye shughuli za mazishi.

ALGERIA NA TANZANIA ZATOKA SARE YA 1-1

Timu ya Taifa ya Tanzania imetoka sare na timu ya taifa ya Algeria, Tanzania ndiyo ilikuwa ya kwanza kupachika bao kwa njia ya mpira wa adhabu.Algeria walisawazisha baadaye kwa shuti la mbali ambalo lilimshinda kipa wa Tanzania.

Goli la Tanzania lilifungwa na Abdi Kassim.
